Maalox sugar-free lemon counteracts excessive acidity of gastric juice (antacidum). Hydrochloric acid is present in the stomach and is responsible for the acidity of the stomach contents. The medicinal substances contained in Maalox sugar-free lemon have a strong neutralizing effect on hydrochloric acid, thereby reducing the acidity of the stomach contents. Without consulting a physician, Maalox Sugar Free Lemon is used to treat problems related to excess stomach acid, such as: heartburn, return of acidic stomach contents back into the mouth (so-called. regurgitation). On the recommendation of a doctor, the medicine is used for treatment: inflammation of the gastric mucosa, inflammation of the esophageal mucosa and may be part of the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers. Maalox sugar-free lemon can be taken by adults and adolescents from 15 years of age. The pack contains 40 chewable tablets.
Dosage and method of use
Unless otherwise directed by a physician, adults and adolescents 15 years of age and older take 1-2 chewable tablets. Maalox sugar-free lemon can be taken a maximum of 6 times a day, the maximum daily dose of 12 chewable tablets must not be exceeded. The chewable tablets are taken after meals and for discomfort. The chewable tablets are left to dissolve in the mouth or chewed. If your problems persist for more than 10 days or worsen, consult your doctor. Maalox Sugar Free Lemon is not intended for long-term use. Do not take the medicine for more than 2 weeks without consulting your doctor.
Contraindications

Storage
Keep out of sight and reach of children. This medicine does not require any special storage conditions. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box after "EXP". The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Do not use Maalox Sugar Free Lemon if you notice visible signs of decreased potency.
