Apple's thinnest and lightest notebook not only gets a new design, but also a modern 5nm Apple M2 chip. It offers a lightning-fast 8-core CPU that can handle any project. It also features an up to 10-core GPU, powerful enough to run even the most demanding apps and games. We must not forget the 16-core Neural Engine, which speeds up machine learning tasks, or the high-quality 1080p FaceTime camera. This is the new MacBook Air M2.
The Apple M2 chipset uses a 5nm manufacturing process and contains a stunning 20 billion transistors, which is 25% more than the original M1 chip. Thanks to this, you can expect an 18% generation-on-generation increase in CPU performance. The graphics unit has accelerated by a full 35%. These are absolutely incredible figures. On the MacBook Air M2, you can play modern games, comfortably transcode any video or edit photos in full quality.
Even though the new Apple M2 chip represents another leap in performance, the battery life remains at a fantastic level. You can enjoy a full 18 hours of video playback. And during typical work with a WiFi connection, you'll have up to 15 hours. A huge plus from a user's point of view is the completely passive design. This means that the MacBook Air M2 is completely silent even under maximum load.
The MacBook Air M2 has a perfect keyboard with a scissor mechanism, more stable keys and faster response. The travel of the individual switches is lower, so keystrokes sound quieter than before. The Force Touch Trackpad is larger, making it easier to control all your activities on the beautiful 13.6" display with a resolution of 2560 × 1664 pixels.

The MacBook Air M2 is equipped with two USB-C connectors with support for the Thunderbolt / USB 4 interface. This makes it easy to connect any accessory, including a screen with 6K resolution at 60Hz.
The new MacBook Air M2 weighs just 1.24kg, yet it won't back down from any task. In practice, you'll appreciate the instant wake-up from sleep mode, the higher-quality video output from the integrated 1080p FaceTime camera, and the fast network connection using WiFi 6. And you'll still have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The MagSafe 3 power connector is easy to connect even in the dark. It holds in place with magnets, but they quickly release their grip if you accidentally trip over the cable. This prevents you from knocking the MacBook Air M2 to the ground.
Access to the MacBook Air M2 is protected by Touch ID, which gives you both convenience and security. And with macOS, you can get anything done faster than ever before. While maintaining maximum privacy.
