Milian Pro 2 is designed to monitor the baby's movement, breathing and sleep. It works on the principle of sliding plates that can be universally inserted under all types of mattresses. 4 large scanning plates measuring 30 × 50 cm (2 included) can be connected to the instrument. If both sensors are used, Milian PRO 2 can monitor the entire 60 × 120 cm area of the cot. The central unit of the device can be attached with Velcro and can be easily transported. The monitor is also equipped with an internal memory that remembers the last 12 minutes. In the case of twins, this time is reduced to 6 minutes. Milian PRO 2 uses 2 pencil batteries as its power supply. Night mode with reduced brightness contributes to lower product consumption. Intelligent battery monitoring then ensures that the device only reminds you when the child is already awake. The monitor is very easy to operate with just one button.

Milian Pro 2 has a wide range of safety equipment. When breathing failure is detected for more than 12 seconds, an audible alert will sound. These are 3 short sounds that try to build up the child to move. After 18 seconds without movement, it then triggers an alarm. It will also alert you if the baby's breathing rate is less than 10 breaths per minute or if the baby has been breathing less than 2.5 minutes. It can also display the force of the movement, in real time graphically or by a numerical value updated every 3 seconds. By setting a custom detection level, you can also filter out distracting environmental movements that could lead to distorted readings and potential danger to the child.
