1914: The Blind Leading The Blind LTD

LP Record Metal with a (First) World War theme has a long tradition, even in the extreme scene, thanks in no small part to bands like Endstille, God Dethroned, and Hail of Bullets. However, no one has dared to tackle this theme as consistently (both musically and visually) as 1914! The Ukrainian band enhances their blackened, massive death metal with fittingly playful passages and unsettling melodic outbursts, while majestically rolling doom is, of course, a must-have in crushers like "A7V Mephisto". The atmospherically dense and technically sublime monolith The Blind Leading The Blind piles it on, then surprisingly strikes with a black-metal-punk cover of The Exploited's "Beat The Bastards".
