We would like to thank everyone who supported the Holiday for DUHA Clients project. Thanks to you, at least five clients will go on a wonderful holiday with their assistants. It will probably be a spa stay in the Czech Republic, either this summer or autumn. It all depends on the measures in place at the time. The holiday is already being planned, and that in itself is a beautiful thing. What is certain is that everyone is very much looking forward to it and will have a wonderful time! Adults with mental disabilities want to live like everyone else. The DUHA Society helps them as much as possible with this, but they need your help to be able to go on holiday. This isn't just about the cost of the holiday itself, but also the costs for the stay and work of an assistant, who must accompany the adult with mental disabilities throughout the entire trip.

The mission of the DUHA Society is to work with adults with mental disabilities to expand their opportunities in various areas of life. This also includes help with leisure time, including holidays.
Organisation Guarantor
PaedDr. Eva Brožová, director of the DUHA Society, studied special education at the Faculty of Education, Charles University. She created the Methodology for the transition of clients from institutions to sheltered housing. The DUHA Society is the first organisation in the Czech Republic to offer the Sheltered Housing service. In addition to her extensive experience in managing the Sheltered Housing service and leading the entire organisation, Eva Brožová also has experience in managing the Duhová prádelna social enterprise, which she helped to establish in 2014. She collaborates on audits and quality inspections of social services, participates in the creation of quality standards for the services provided, and provides supervision and consultations in various social services.
