Ancient Fairy Tales
The book of 77 short stories for evenings and nights is the seventh in a series of 7 books containing a total of 400 mystical short stories. The shorter ones in this series are 4 to 6 pages long (1,340 to 1,860 words). They are all sorted from shorter to longer. The most famous of these are = 15*/ The Emperor's New Clothes, 17*/ Tin Soldier, 37*/ Mill mel, 40*/ Three little pigs, 45*/ Mr. Puss in Boots, and others. The book contains the most beautiful short stories and fairy tales from all over the world that were known before 1910. They were collected by Andrew Lang, who is known in the UK as Pavol Dobšinský in Slovakia. As the title of the book suggests, the stories are suitable for evening reading, with vocabulary suitable for 10 to 11-year-old readers. They were originally published in English in 12 books, known as The Coloured Fairy Books. These stories will not only take you into the world of animals, kings and princesses, but also introduce you to various stories of people from the past.
