A Day Like This

Annie Beyers has it all—a beautiful home, a loving husband and an adorable daughter. The day she drives Hannah to the paediatrician is just like any other. Until, hours later, she wakes up in hospital to discover she’s been in a car accident. But when she asks for her daughter, the confused doctors tell her that there is no Hannah. In fact, nothing is as Annie remembers it. The five happy years of her life have apparently never happened.
Her marriage is coming to an end. She no longer lives in her beloved yellow house in upstate New York; now she's a successful artist living in Manhattan. Her sister, Marcie, whom she hasn't seen in years, is suddenly her best friend, and her dog, Charlie, whose death she remembers, is alive and well.
With each passing day, the past and the unfamiliar present begin to blur. Annie is troubled by memories of Hannah and a knowledge of things she can't explain… Is everyone lying to her? The search for answers leads Annie on a journey to help her reconcile her memories with reality and discover the truth about the life she's living.
