A shifted boundary

Hundreds of thousands of Czechoslovaks became strangers in their homes overnight from 29 to 30 September 1938. Within a few weeks, nearly 350,000 Czechoslovaks left the occupied territories in the borderlands. Those who remained became citizens of an enemy state. It was an autumn that wrote many dramatic fates. Vlado Príkazský and Bronislava Janečková will recall some of them.
