In a cheerful, humorous and nostalgic way, Radůza returns to her childhood in the late 1970s in a collection of autobiographical stories.
Thirteen autobiographical stories about the childhood of the unique singer, musician and lyricist Radůza convincingly and with humour sketch the reality of the late 1970s. She depicts her childhood in the countryside through the eyes of a skinny, willful girl who already at the age of four has a clear view of life, and through her she tells stories of family and village and paints a sensitive literary picture of her grandparents and family vicissitudes. In short stories with lapidary titles (Veranda, Condor, Wrap, etc. ) portrays grandma and grandpa and especially their rural way of life - away from the ubiquitous cycle: a pilgrimage, Birthday, yard work, killing rabbits, diseases of dogs, small village disasters, down to the unimportant details, which, however, give the text an absolutely tangible dimension and transport us to the atmosphere of the village, which is now essentially defunct. Radůza possesses a lively prose talent, which in this case she has enlivened with a regional dialect from eastern Bohemia. And just like in her lyrics, she managed to create an excellent concentrate full of energy.
