A storm of endless beauty

A Storm of Infinite Beauty is an atmospheric novel that weaves together a family secret, a quest for the truth, and a search for a new beginning. At its heart is Scarlett Fontaine, a Hollywood legend, singer, actress, and fashion icon who tragically died at the age of just thirty-six. The official story is that she died childless. However, some clues suggest there is a completely unexpected chapter to the famous woman's past.

Gwen Hollingsworth, the curator of a museum dedicated to Scarlett's life, is currently grappling with the painful breakdown of her marriage and uncertainty about the future. When photographer and biographer Peter Miller appears at the museum with the shocking claim that Scarlett may have spent time in exile in Alaska, and perhaps even secretly gave birth to a child there, Gwen's carefully constructed world begins to crumble.

Together, they journey from the vineyards of Nova Scotia to the rugged Alaskan landscape, where the truth gradually begins to emerge from forgotten letters, memories, and traces of that “lost year.” The story, told across two timelines, is framed by a historical disaster—the 1964 Alaska earthquake, which adds both urgency and emotional power to the plot.
