A terrifying prophecy
Kim Stone and her team face a serial killer
A brutal murder has been committed in an overgrown cemetery. The victim, Sandra Deakin, must have been deeply hated by someone. Sandra believed she could communicate with the dead. The last time she was seen alive was by a group of women who held a séance with her the night before she was killed. Each of them had asked Sandra for help. And they are all lying about why. A few days later, the body of a young man is found with the same wounds to his face as Sandra... Kim Stone and her team are once again dealing with a serial killer—and once again, they have fatally little time to stop his next rampage.
Angela Marsons
Angela Marsons comes from the Black Country, an industrial area in the English Midlands, where she still lives with her partner, a Labrador, and a talkative parrot. She debuted with social novels (My Name Is, The Middle Child), then turned to crime fiction and wrote Silent Scream, the first Kim Stone case (2015). It was a phenomenal success: it topped the British Amazon bestseller chart for over a month, ranked among the top five best-selling titles of the year on both the British and American Amazon sites, was listed among the top ten crime novels of the year by The Guardian and The Bookseller, and has been published in 19 countries. In the same year, Angela published the second and third Kim Stone cases, Evil Games and Lost Girls, followed by two more instalments a year later... and the number of copies sold of her detective stories has surpassed two million. The author has promised a total of a sixteen-book series.
