An End to Ageing

Why age no longer has to rob us of health and vitality

They say that old age is natural and its consequences are inevitable. They say we must resign ourselves to the end of our lives being accompanied by one or more chronic diseases. Who would want to live to be a hundred if it's just surviving and no fun? Prof. David Sinclair, along with other leading geneticists in the field of longevity, is changing this paradigm by proving that AGEING IS A DISEASE THAT CAN BE TREATED.
According to the author, it is very likely that you too will live to be a hundred. The scienceof longevity can now not only slow down but also stop and even reverse ageing in animals. Clinical trials in humans are already in the pipeline, and their goal is not just to extend life, but to simultaneously preserve its quality. That is, to deepen health and overall vitality.
David Sinclair is a leading expert in genetics and longevity research, and in this fascinating book he will introduce you to the latest discoveries, including his information theory of ageing; newly developed treatments, and how to apply this knowledge in your own life. In the final part of the book, he discusses the possible scenarios that this revolution could lead to in society, and proposes a vision of the future that we can look forward to.
A vision of a world where you take your great-great-grandchildren on a trip. ..."It doesn't matter how old you are, where you live, or how much you earn, you can start using your longevity genes right away! People who live to be 'only' a hundred have the chance to experience their eighties and nineties as the best years of their lives"...
