Animal Cemetery - Blu-ray

Dr Louis Creed (Jason Clarke), his wife and their two children move from the big city to the countryside, to a large house on the edge of a forest. The forest hides a pet cemetery where local children have buried their animals for time immemorial, whether they died of natural causes or fell victim to the busy road that cuts through the town.
While Louis, a doctor, takes a pragmatic view of death as a definitive end, his wife Rachel (Amy Seimetz) has huge issues with the subject after a terrifying childhood experience, and above all wants to protect her children from the "awareness of finality".

When their neighbour, Jud Crandall (John Lithgow), finds Church, their daughter Ellie's cat, lying dead by the roadside, her parents are suddenly at a loss for what to tell her. It is Jud who tells Louis that if he buries the cat in the pet cemetery as soon as possible, they won't have to tell her anything at all.
The cat returns. But a little different. Wilder. More dangerous.
