Artificial Matter: Live 2021 - CD

A legend that has been on the scene for almost fifty years and the current line-up has been playing together for 15 years. Even songs older than the old ones, she has both given them new energy and at the same time set them in a more contemporary and fuller sound without losing their charm. And in the same spirit, new songs were created. I thought it was a shame that in the great shape the band is in right now, it wouldn't be captured in a live concert. That is, in the environment that is most familiar and close to her and where this gang feels safest. No cuddling in the studio, the rawness and magic of the moment was hopefully captured. Think of it as a testament to never-ending determination and perseverance. A message of the firm belief that rock and roll can change the world.

A bonus is the five songs at the end, a tribute to the long-time member of Uměla Matter in all its eras and especially to the author of many of the songs, Alfred Michl, who left us last year. It's a concert from Prague's Acropolis (20. 3. 2000), when Alfred and Dino were joined by their "friends from the past" Jindra Belant, Dlouhán, Ondra Horák and Mikoláš Chadima as a guest.
