Assassin's Creed - DVD

Convicted murderer Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) is unwillingly rescued from death row to take part in a centuries-old conflict between Assassins, Templars and the Spanish Inquisition. His new prison is a secret Abstergo facility equipped with the revolutionary Animus technology, which unlocks genetic memories in human DNA, allowing him to return to and experience the memories of his ancestors, previously lost to time.

Thanks to the Animus, Callum connects with his ancestor who lived in 15th-century Granada and Seville during the Spanish Inquisition. His name is Aguilar de Nerha, a member of the Assassin Brotherhood, which has been waging a secret war for centuries against the Templar Order, their sworn enemy. The secret organisation of Assassins is committed to protecting humanity's free will and is trying to prevent the Templars, with the help of the Inquisition, from seizing a powerful artefact called the Apple of Eden. The Templars believe this very artefact is the key to world domination.
