The author's extensive bibliography - almost 300 works including theatre and radio plays, romantic prose, a collection of poetry or a collection of poems and short stories for children - is mapped in several encyclopedias (including, among others, lists and characterizations of characters or film, television and theatre adaptations), The secrets of her work are most recently revealed in detail in The Secret Notebooks of Agatha Christie published in 2009 (Czech 2010) and The Thoughtful Murders of Agatha Christie (Czech 2012), two books from the pen of John Curran, who studied in detail 73 volumes of the author's handwritten notes. All of Agatha Christie's detective novels have been published again and again all over the world, and their intelligent, meticulously crafted and, above all, thrilling stories still appeal to millions of readers today.
