Babouci is proud of the title of the oldest South Bohemian brass band, which still performs all over the Czech Republic, but does not resist performing abroad.

In the past, the band visited Belgium, Holland, Slovakia, Austria and Germany. The year of the formation of this band is 1868, so in 2019 we will celebrate 151 years of existence and I hope that in full force and with the generous support of all our fans, who associate in our club of rock fans Babouků (KSPB) in the number of approaching to two thousand! Babouci publishes new media, especially at the Ladislav Kubeš publishing house (KHV).

In 1968, the year of the centenary of the Babouky' s uninterrupted existence, the current tenor player Václav Rožboud from Němčice was put in charge of them, and from 1.5. In 2002, the bandmaster was Petr Shýbal from Lišov. On May 1, 2019, the wing band Tomáš Staněk became the bandleader.
