Babovřesky 2 - DVD

Zdeněk Troška's summer comedy is a funny picture of life in a contemporary village, which, with insight and comedic exaggeration, kind of in the spirit of the sun, hay, watching the misunderstandings and coincidences pile up, that's gonna mess with the heads of its inhabitants. The story is not lacking in love, jealousy, envy, intrigue and especially funny moments, in which some even find themselves. The story begins where the first episode left off: gossip Horáčková runs out of the house to meet young hockey players who have come to visit their good friend and teammate at a nearby cottage to train and rest for a few days. Horáčková immediately thinks of inviting her granddaughter, cleverly putting her in the way of the athletes - maybe some will notice her and the girl will make a splash. She can't hold back and brags about her idea to the other grannies. The plot also revolves around Horáčková's revenge against Mayor Stehlík, who forced her to leave her job as secretary at the local government. an inspector from the "region" comes to the village and has no idea what is waiting for him, what he will have to deal with and thanks to that a lot of humorous situations take place. And over it all watches a young parish priest with a somewhat unconventional and ambiguous name.
