Balthazar

Breaking the rules, the demon Baltazar befriends the soul of a suicide victim, Jakub, but the authorities of Hell have no intention of standing idly by. When the underworld gets too hot for the mouthy demon, he manages to escape to the mortal world. Unsurprisingly, trouble follows him there too, especially when he runs into a peculiar werewolf with an alchemical past and a rather dim-witted angel of the Lord who is more likely to brandish a flaming sword than his intellect. And to ensure life isn't too simple, Baltazar's path crosses with that of the plump, red-headed Viola. This magical realism set in modern-day Prague will delight you with its charming humour.
