Battlefield 2042: Gold Edition - Xbox Digital
The latest installment of the iconic FPS Battlefield series takes us to a not-too-distant future affected by war.
Create your own specialist and prepare for any situation that Battlefield 2042 puts in your way.
Discover a new dimension of war
Take on gigantic maps offering options for every play style. Explore them to find advantages for your game team before your enemies turn them into ruins and dust with heavy machinery, thanks to the destructible environment system.
An Unpleasant Future
The future doesn't look too rosy in Battlefield 2042. Various crises, including the climate crisis, have hit humanity full force, leaving the whole world facing shortages of food, water and other vital resources. To make matters worse, the US will go to war with Russia, and you will also become one of the specialists fighting not so much for the nations as for your own survival.
Choose your favourite
Get in the heavy tanks. Take control of the fighters. Take control of the drones and dominate the next generation of flexible battlefields.
Fight on ever-changing maps designed for up to 128 players on next-gen consoles and PC, while the old one lets 64 fight it out.
Use the full potential of the battlefields. Operate on the rooftops. Take cover and above all prepare for the clash with the enemy that is inevitable.
Fight the weather
In the future, the weather is something that cannot be relied upon too much. In fact, it will become your next enemy to deal with on a steady basis. A giant tornado or a map-devouring sandstorm cannot be completely ignored.
