Be Charity Endowment Fund

Be Charity considers direct help, constant contact and the possibility of continuous support for people with disabilities to be one of the most important messages. Their experience shows that that regular help to a specific child / adult, is one of the best options how their difficult situation can be alleviated, so if they know that the rehabilitation or treatment program helps and it is possible to help the client pay for it regularly, such help not only makes sense, but moreover it is decisive for the future of the individual.
To Be Charity helps:

SPECIFIC CHILDREN
In 2020, they were able to help 72 children. The vast majority of them are children born prematurely, or with a serious health problem that appears in the first year of their lives. Many of them have been diagnosed with cerebral palsy and are battling severe seizures. Some are likely to remain in a wheelchair, but rehabilitation can protect them from unpleasant pain and surgery, others have a chance to walk or even lead a full life in adulthood. Some of these children suffer from disabilities due to serious injuries.

MEDICAL FACILITIES / HOSPITALS
Due to contact with hospitals, they came to the worrying finding that beds, pumps and respirators were often missing for the disabled. Part of the proceeds therefore goes to three specialized hospital departments - the department of acute child rehabilitation and the spinal unit of the University Hospital Motol Prof. PaedDr. Pavel Kolář, Ph. D. D., Center for Pediatric Plastic Surgery, Department of Plastic Surgery at the University Hospital Královské Vinohrady Prof. MUDr. Andreje Sukopa, Ph. D. D., and the Perinatology Center of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic U Apolináře Prof. MUDr. Antonín Pařízek, CSc.

ETINCELLE
Together with the civic association Etincelle, which supports people with mild mental or combined disabilities, Be Charity participates in the employment of their clients (for example, the café Mezi riadky, Without end, farm, mangle, cleaning services). Their common goal is to create job opportunities for people who are constantly pushed out of ordinary society. They want to show that these people can benefit themselves and others. They don' t want to, just like us, just stand with their hands folded and wait for what' s to come.
