Beatles: 1 CD + DVD (2015) - CD + DV - CD + DVD

The Beatles will release a reissue of the "1" selection in November, this time with clips!
It's been fifteen years since a selection with the simple title 1 appeared on the market, charting the greatest achievements of the legendary Beatles, or rather all twenty-seven songs that reached the top of the British or American singles chart. At the beginning of November, this best of will be released in a new version, this time accompanied by extensive visual material.
The Beatles were one of the pioneers of making music videos for their songs. When they weren't performing or filming in the studio, they were making short videos or shots, which were very successful on TV. It's so surprising that a complete set has never been released to complete this rare visual. Until now.
But much more crucial this time will be the visual material, which comes with two bundled DVDs and a Blu-ray. A team of eighteen, led by Grammy Award-winning Giles Martin, spent hundreds of hours at the legendary Abbey Road Studios tracking down with a heavy cleaning, 4K restoration and scanning from original promo films, of recorded television programmes and other carefully selected video footage, which yielded hours of material, which fans will be able to enjoy for the first time in 5.1 Dolby Digital sound and DTS HD surround audio mixes.
The first DVD will contain video clips of all British singles of The Beatles, i.e. clips of those songs that fans will also find on the CD. Four of them will be accompanied by comments from living members of Brooks - Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. The second visual disc will be full of bonus features that fans will see, in some cases for the very first time. Twenty-three clips present alternative versions of promo videos, rare live performances and other never before released videos, which will amount to more than an hour and a half of unusual material. All these discs will be complemented by a comprehensive 124-page book, which, in addition to period photographs, will also include contributions by music journalists and historians.
The new edition of 1, which will be released in an expanded version as 1+, is the first complete look at the greatest commercial success of the most famous band of all time. The title will be available in the deluxe set described above, as well as in less extensive versions in the CD+DVD/Blu-ray set or separately on CD, DVD and Blu-ray.
