Before I go to sleep (book edition)

Following an accident several years ago, Christine suffered brain damage that erases her memory every night while she sleeps. And every morning, she must discover all over again who she is, what she has experienced in her life, who she loves, and who she lives with. Her husband, Ben, patiently helps her day after day with photo albums and stories. Christine’s second guide through the fog of her own past is psychiatrist Dr Nash (Mark Strong), with whose help she keeps a video diary. And one day, in her own voice, it warns her: “Don’t trust anyone.”
The diary entry triggers a series of events with terrifying consequences. Christine begins to doubt everyone who seemed to be helping her. The questions of who Christine really is, what is hidden in her past, and what caused her condition lead to shocking answers. Christine discovers that sometimes, the truth is better forgotten.
