Belfast - Blu-ray

Famous director and Oscar® † Screenwriter Kenneth Branagh has made a humorous and kind, but at the same time harsh and a little cruel story of a boy from Belfast in the midst of the social turmoil of the late 1960s. Buddy's family lives in a predominantly Protestant neighborhood with a few Catholic families, but one day their safe and sane world is suddenly turned upside down. Buddy's family is stuck in chaos and must decide to stay or leave the only place they have ever called home. Through it all, his passionate parents (Caitríona Balfe and Jamie Dornan) and quick-witted grandparents (an Oscar® winner; †† Judi Dench and Ciarán Hinds) can keep the joy of life. The film reminds us that no matter how far you go, you never forget where you came from.
