A multi-layered existential drama, loosely related to the author's highly successful novel Malinka
Bela and Sabina are identical twins. However, the extraordinarily strong bond they grow up with is eroded by drugs and only one of the sisters prevails. Their mother has been wallowing in self-pity ever since, giving the lost child most of her thoughts and love. The second one loses not only her twin, but also her mother.
In the same year as the two girls, Vitaliy is born in a Czech village in Ukraine and decides to leave for the land of his ancestors. In Prague, however, he gets involved with Luboš, a pimp and gastarbeiters' merchant, who robs him of all illusions.
And then one child is born, who connects the fates of all the characters and makes them rethink their ideas of what it means to be a sister, a mother... but also a father.
