Biblical Hebrew Textbook

Professor Weingreen's Hebrew Lexicon was first published in 1939. This textbook aims to introduce the student to classical Hebrew as quickly as possible by means of simple rules. Interpretation is guided by the aspect of practical language, avoiding difficult terminology. The vocabulary is presented systematically in the following chapters. Each unit ends with two translation exercises - from Hebrew to English and from English to Hebrew. The book is supplemented by tables of vocabulary, a list of irregular verbs and a glossary. The textbook is published in the 3rd Czech edition.
