Bílá, Lucie: Hana - CD

A pivotal album in the career of the multiple Golden Nightingale award winner, titled Hana, brings many surprises and unexpected collaborations.

Instead of playing it safe, which often leads artists in similar situations to cover well-known international hits, Lucie Bílá has bravely stepped into entirely new territory, approaching a younger generation of writers and creators to collaborate on her new album.

Alongside Martin Šrámek, the popular Slovak singer Katarína Knechtová contributes as a songwriter on several tracks, and is also the author of the album's title track, Hana.

Celeste Buckingham even contributes a rap to the dance track Primadonna. Her English on this song isn't an isolated instance on the album, as the producer, "Maxo" Šrámek, a brilliant singer himself, lends his unique English vocals to two duets with Lucie – Hráze and Poprvé.

A separate chapter is dedicated to the lyrics. A new generation of Czech popular music lyricists makes an appearance here – Petr Harazin and Štěpán Petrů, otherwise members of the popular band Nebe. With a few honourable exceptions, these two co-writers are credited as the almost exclusive lyricists for this album.
