Bitová Iva and Chikori: At Home - CD

Iva Bittová & Čikori recorded nine original songs for the album At Home. The music on the recording belongs to Iva Bittová and the whole Čikori. Of the nine texts, three were written by Karel David, the opening Night was written by Vladimír Václavek. One text was also added by Richard Müller. There are three English lyrics on the recording, which are essential for the whole album and Iva Bittová drew them from her poetry collections. The title track At Home is by Linda Gregg and the lyrics to A Paper Cone, for example, were written by renowned London critic, radio editor, occasional lyricist and poet Ken Hunt.

The band Čikori consists of Vladimír Václavek (guitars), Jaromír Honzák (double bass), Oskar Török (trumpet). Guest musicians Antonín Fajt (piano), Hamid Drake (drums) and other guests joined the recording of the album.
