Black cake

When Eleanor Bennett dies, she leaves behind her two children, Byron and Benny, and a bizarre inheritance: a black cake, baked according to a family recipe with a long history, and a voice message. Through this message, Eleanor shares the tumultuous story of a stubborn young swimmer who fled her home island after being suspected of murder. However, this heart-wrenching testimony doesn't explain everything, and the mystery of a missing child now threatens to challenge everything Byron and Benny thought they knew about their origins.
Can the siblings mend their long-strained relationship, uncover Eleanor's true past, and fulfil her final wish: to share the black cake when the time is right? Will the revelation of their mother's secret bring them closer together or drive them further apart?
