Blue orchids

Renowned botanist Simon Lane leaves London for an expedition to the South American rainforests. To avoid losing his loyal and reliable secretary, Veronica, he proposes a marriage of convenience. Veronica agrees, as she feels more than just professional loyalty towards her employer. However, during the voyage to America, Simon remains distant, and Veronica meets a young landowner, Elcor, who is Simon's complete opposite and shows a keen interest in her. How will her life unfold, and what will the expedition bring?
