What' s so interesting about body language is that it' s incredibly logical and can be, with a certain amount of caution, categorized into just a few rules. This will allow you to see the world from a completely different perspective after just one reading of this guide. However, if I have simplified something too much, I apologize in advance. The task of this guide was to convey everything in a form that allows you to immediately apply the knowledge.
It would probably be appropriate to emphasize, that this book does not aim to be a professional publication, but a real tool, which aims to help understand and apply the basics of body language so that as I myself understood them, how I perceive them around me every day and how I teach them to our students and architects, for which I enjoyed drawing them. Learning body language is not that difficult, but it' s like any other skill, you have to want to learn it and you have to prepare the appropriate materials for it. I myself followed the method already described by psychologist Kurt Lewin (1890-1947). “If you want to understand the system, try to change it. ” And that’s exactly what I did. I took my own experiences, books on body language, and our course on psychological aspects of communication at CTU and decided to put everything into a meaningful form that would allow our students to understand the basics in just one semester and, if possible, apply them immediately. It probably won' t surprise you that I was the one who learned the most this way.
