Bowie David: Glass Spider (2018 Remastered) (2x CD) - CD

The 2018 box set Loving The Alien summed up Bowie's creative period from 1983-88. The individual components of the box are now available separately. Glass Spider is a concert film and concert recording made by David Bowie in 1987 during his tour of the same name in support of the album Never Let Me Down, released the same year. It was taken in Sydney at the local Entertainment Centre. And although the tour provoked rather mixed reactions at the time, critics later agreed that it had a major impact on the way other stars like Madonna and U2 conceived of their performances in the following years. A member of Bowie's backing band on this tour was legendary guitarist, composer, singer and producer Peter Frampton.

One of the greatest personalities of world music, a renowned musical chameleon and a pioneer of several musical movements. During his lifetime, this British artist released twenty-five albums, many of which have become part of the golden fund of popular music and influenced several generations of musicians from several musical genres. David Bowie released his last album, Black Star, on 8 January 2016, on his sixty-ninth birthday and just two days before his death.
