Brown James: You Call It Soul - LP

Brown James: You Call It Soul - LP
James Brown is one of the most important musicians of the 20th century. Influenced by Rhythm & Blues and Gospel music, he quickly developed his own style and became the Godfather of Soul. In addition to his outstanding voice, James Brown was also an exceptional performer. His extravagant dancing style, his incredibly tight trousers, and his fondness for make-up made his performances unforgettable and inspired an entire generation of up-and-coming pop musicians. At the legendary "Rumble In The Jungle" boxing match between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman in Zaire, James Brown was the show's main act. He was married four times and, despite over a million records sold, was completely broke several times and even spent two years in prison. The multiple Grammy winner lived his life to the fullest and left us music for eternity.
