Buried alive

Audiobook Buried Alive, by author Veronika Martinková, read by Jan Meduna, Anna Fixová and Gustav Hašek. Directed by Jakub Tabery. Vítková & Winkler #7 Two girls, Dominika and Eliška. Each from a different end of the country. Two seemingly unrelated stories. They have never met – and yet their lives are fatefully intertwined. Dominika died a violent death seven years ago. Her killer was caught and convicted. However, the convict's desperate father refuses to accept the verdict and asks Captain David Winkler to reopen the old case and find the real perpetrator. At the same time, seventeen-year-old Eliška disappears without a trace. During a frosty December night, she goes to a bus stop, but she never leaves it. Hana Vítková and her team begin the search for the girl. It soon becomes clear that Eliška's disappearance may have a disturbing connection to Dominika's long-ago murder. The investigators gradually discover that the truth is darker than they could have imagined. And that some secrets were meant to remain buried forever. Will they manage to find Eliška in time?
