Captain America: The First Avenger - Blu-ray

Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) is an idealistic young man who, like the vast majority of his peers, wants to join the army to help America defeat the Nazis when his country enters the Second World War. However, he doesn't stand a chance because he is undersized and sickly. His only real quality is the stubbornness with which he repeatedly gets rejected by draft boards. This ultimately leads to him being selected as a suitable candidate for a unique scientific experiment designed to produce Super-Soldiers for America.
His first trial is a success, and thanks to the scientific team led by Dr Erskine (Stanley Tucci), Steve becomes the perfect human specimen. He still doesn't get to fight the Nazis, however, because a much more dangerous enemy appears. The secret organisation HYDRA, led by the ruthless villain Johann Schmidt (Hugo Weaving), has begun to hatch its own plans for world domination.
