Care for the elderly

The textbook for the subject of care of the elderly includes a general part that theoretically summarizes the issues of old age, the needs of the elderly, their communication and relationships with the environment. A special section summarizes information on caring for an elderly person with various diseases and problems. The publication focuses on the care of the elderly in the home environment and in residential care. At the beginning of each chapter, the author introduces information that the students have already learned in their previous studies from professional subjects - e.g. builds on the subjects of health science, nursing and psychology.
