Catapult: Made in Rock' n' Roll - CD

Olda Říha and his young bandmates are successfully rocking on! After several sad and final departures of former members, it seemed like the end for big beat music, but the soon-to-be 64-year-old guitarist, singer, songwriter, and founding father of Katapult, Říha, didn't give up.

Back as a trio, with bassist Andy Budka and drummer Ondra Timpl, who are young enough to be his sons, he now presents an enthusiastic live set of Katapult's famous hits, complemented by new tracks from the last studio album and a steady stream of fresh songs.

This live album is proof of the never-ending energy of their straightforward rock songs with equally effective and simple lyrics. Mixed and mastered at Sono Studio, but otherwise an entirely authentic live recording from November 2011, it captures a performance in one of Katapult's hallowed venues, the Futurum club in Prague. The fourteen tracks got the sold-out hall buzzing, and there's no reason why they shouldn't now delight all the band's other fans.

The combination of proven old classics (Stovky hotelů, Starý desky hrajou dál, Půlnoční závodní dráha, or Hlupák váhá), excellently received album tracks from Radosti života (Casablanca or Metrosexuál), and new pieces (the title track Made in Rock'n'Roll and Oči) is a fantastic opportunity for the band's dynamic 2012 model.

Classic hits, current album tracks, and brand new songs live!
