Centurion - DVD

The year is AD 117. The Roman Empire stretches from Egypt to Spain, and as far east as the Black Sea. But in northern Britain, the Romans are struggling to conquer the territory of the Picts, a fierce and savage tribe who fight the organised Roman legions with guerrilla tactics. Quintus (Michael Fassbender), the sole survivor of a Pictish raid on a Roman fort, marches north with the legendary Ninth Legion, led by General Virilus (Dominic West). Their orders are clear: wipe the Picts from the face of the earth and destroy their leader, Gorlacon.
