There are many ways to create ceramic reliefs. All are simple and technically accessible even for beginners. All it takes is a good idea - and the new volume of the Skilful Hands edition has plenty of them. First, we will learn how to make a basic clay plate using several procedures. It can be decorated by painting, gluing, stamping or cutting, or by imprinting various natural materials and objects with interesting surface textures. However, we can also use some lesser-known but very impressive techniques such as paint spreading, paper-cutting, paper embossing or roll-forming. Large and small reliefs can then be used as wall pictures and original jewellery. The original instruction book is intended for children and parents, leaders of ceramic clubs, courses and art teachers.
