Changemaker

Changeling. He is invisible, but he wants you to know about him. He takes a small, seemingly unimportant thing from your apartment and exchanges it for a faceless figure. He marked you. It's a game of power, and with it grows his appetite for something more. Detective Leonore Asker's leadership of Malmö Police's Major Crime Unit is almost within her grasp. However, in the middle of a serious case of the disappearance of a young couple, the management decides to "promote" her to the head of the so-called Lost Souls Unit, a cold case investigation unit located in the basement of the police station. Nevertheless, Asker conducts the investigation on her own, finding more and more clues thanks to her trained instincts. Someone places small figurines in a model railway landscape and it turns out that one of them seems to represent the wanted woman. Leo soon realizes that behind the apparent banality lies an unusual kind of evil that seeks to draw attention to itself and draw her into the bowels of the mountain. The Changeling is the 1st installment of the Leo Asker series.
