Child polytrauma

The book is aimed at clinicians at all levels of the survival chain: especially emergency and intensive care physicians, anaesthesiologists, paediatric intensive care and resuscitation physicians, but also trauma surgeons and other specialties.

The publication provides the reader with a comprehensive view of the issue of severe trauma in children – from pre-hospital care through care in the emergency room, operating theatre and paediatric intensive care and resuscitation unit. It deals with diagnosis, therapy, all basic and life-saving procedures, and highlights the most common mistakes in caring for an injured child.

The authors' team consists of experts who deal with the pediatric patient from the first contact to the final hospital solution.
