Christmas kitten

Nine-year-old Emily had always dreamed of having her own kitten, while her younger brother Tom longed for a puppy. They wanted a pet so much that their parents said a resounding NO! On Christmas Eve, Emily and her mother go shopping. At the store, they hear a low growl. Among the garbage they discover a small abandoned kitten. The local shelter is closed over the holidays, so they have no choice but to take him home for Christmas. Emily hopes her parents will allow her to keep the kitten forever...
