Christmas stories

This most popular representative of the Victorian novel, the uncrowned king of English storytellers, also wrote short stories to distract himself between his voluminous works. We have chosen the most popular ones - with a Christmas theme: Christmas Carol, Bells. It is surely no coincidence that these two stories are projected into the dream position. The author seems to have dreamt them up during his nightly wanderings through the streets of London and expressed in them his idea of the ideal of human nature.
