Cobham Billy: Spectrum - LP

Vinyl reissue of the jazz musician's debut album. Billy Cobham originally released the record in 1973. Not without interest, the Stratus track appeared in the video game Grand Theft Auto IV. It was popularized for a new generation by Massive Attack, who sampled the record and used it in their hit Safe from Harm.

The Panamanian-born, Swiss-based jazz drummer has played with Miles Davis and the Mahavishnu Orchestra. He is often referred to as the best fusion drummer, drumming with incredible punch and at the same time absolutely precise.
