Collective Hallucinations: Bones - CD

The alternative band from Kladno, Kolektivní Halucinace, has recorded an authentic album about a time moving between a broken future and an unfulfilled past. The album resonates with the idea that today, more than ever before, the line between good and evil runs through us.

Their new album is called Kosti (Bones) and deals with life on the edge of epochs. “Bones are a symbol of something that remains, even when the old has gone and the new is yet to be born,” says drummer Tomáš Příkaský. The new record comes three years after the release of the album Bůh z Umakartu (God from Formica) and may feel like a revelation. It is as if the band is looking beyond the horizon through the contemplative eyes of the skull on their album cover.

Four friends, musicians, singers. Although they sing about things we all know intimately, things we experience, they are unique in their approach. If you are wondering which box to put them in, you should know that genre limitations are alien to this band. What can be said without hesitation, however, is that this is an original experience.
