Compassion must be set aside

The artist Ctirad Karáfiát and his friend discover a man's body under a pile of stones while searching for semi-precious stones. All indications are that the famous mineral prospector, of which there are countless in the Ore Mountains, died by accident. But when his co-worker also goes missing, the Monastery morgue enters the scene and begins to unravel the complex relationships between the deceased and his loved ones. Ctirad, regardless of the strong warnings of Captain Beranek and his wife Šárka, starts to search on his own and, as usual for him, gets into really dangerous situations.
