Connecting Eastern wisdom and Western herbalism

The book is a comprehensive practical guide to compiling individual herbal mixtures, based on the authors' more than twenty years of herbal practice. It is divided into five parts according to the elements (fire, water, countries, metal, wood), and presents topics in an original way, which has not yet been processed to this extent or complexity.

The authors' goal is to support Czech herbalists in their efforts to provide detailed diagnostics based on the principles of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and at the same time to make the use of our domestic medicinal plants accessible to TCM practitioners. The book is therefore an indispensable aid for all TCM practitioners who wish to include herbs growing in our countries in their practice, but also for other aspiring herbalists who want to create herbal recipes based on accurate clinical diagnostics. Everyone will find specific instructions for creating individual mixtures composed of available herbs for specific problems with detailed explanations of model clinical situations.
