Flexible spine

Bohumil was a good child, he studied quite well, followed his parents' instructions and attended Sunday mass. It seemed that he would go to college, become a doctor or an engineer, and just have a good time. But he had the misfortune of being born in the first half of the twentieth century. It soon became clear that if he was to do well, he would need not education but a flexible spine.
A historical novel that takes you through the events of the 20th century through the eyes of a not-so-heroic Czech hero.
