Dad's Indian Summer

Juliane is thirty-nine, has a seven-year-old son, a well-ordered life and does not like surprises. Her dad, Jean, has always been an untamed force of nature, loving everything spontaneous and unexpected. So when a fire breaks out in his house and he has to move in with his daughter, the fun is guaranteed. Jean has always been different from other fathers, a magnet for incredible events, but this time everything seems much more intense…

The house echoes with wild big beat music, an Indian tipi is to be built in the garden, there are skirmishes with the neighbour, a stream of useless products purchased from teleshopping arrives regularly in the post, and Jean is constantly losing and forgetting things… At first, Juliane thinks her father's eccentric nature and nonconformity are simply deepening with age, but she soon has to admit that there is simply something wrong with him. And the medical confirmation of this fact is the first step on the journey that still awaits Juliane and the whole family by his side.

Sometimes you just need to put the past and the future behind you, live in the present moment and enjoy every precious day. Because as long as we are alive, there is still time for everything possible and impossible.
