Darkness

Sometimes Darkness wins. No matter how hard we tried.

I didn't even make it to twenty-five. Harassed, imprisoned, consumed by something I couldn't escape. It went on for so long until the inevitable happened. Because I gave up, gave in to it. For some, a tragedy; for others, a liberation.
